Rossella Scalone

FOUNDER & CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

I am empathetic, energetic and optimistic. Double like a magnolia, an entrepreneur and a mother, the choice to create MAGNOLIA MOVING SRL was an excellent compromise between these two souls of mine.
Born and raised in Apulia, I then moved to Rome to study Oriental languages. After graduation, I became a mother and started working in real estate and the hospitality industry before falling in love with the world of transport. I worked as a European Traffic Manager in a large company where I learned the ropes of the trade.
In 2012, I founded Magnolia Moving, a relocation company with the name of a flower, a feminine touch in a notoriously masculine industry…

From May 2022 in Magnolia you can breathe a little magic! I am Eva, and the list of my passions ranges from traveling the world to reading tarot cards. To Magnolia, I have brought not only my contagious smile but also all the experience I have gained through years of work. Born in Rome and with a degree in economics, I have a background in the worlds of tourism and luxury furniture, as well as a brief experience as a high school teacher! All of it has enriched me both humanly and professionally.

Iulia Vrabie

CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

A great woman, with a delicate appearance but inexhaustible power. Born in Romania, I moved to Italy after graduating in Economics and started working right away, the knowledge of four languages helped me to immediately decide the sector my future would be in: relocation and international removals of course! Since 2006 I have done nothing else. In 2015 I started working at Magnolia Moving and immediately felt motivated to give my best and grow with this young company.

A man with a great experience but the looks of a youngster… I was born and raised in New York and finished my studies in Rome. Back to the “Big Apple” I trained professionally with Alitalia Airline at JFK airport where I learnt and carried out all the procedures of the industry, from balancing 747 aircrafts to supervising import/export operations. Back in Italy, I continued in the sector, specializing in the financial department with various multinationals: from Price Analyst to overseeing FAO’s worldwide contract for household goods and personal effects transport. At Magnolia’s I have really found a dynamic environment, professional and very stimulating, which is the fundamental basis to reach the best results.

A man with a great experience even eternal boy good looking… Born American and till early age raised in New York, I’ve finished my studies in Rome. Back in the “Big Apple” I ‘ve started my professional adventure in the World of Transports with Alitalia Airline in the JKF airport , assimilating and carrying out all sector’s procedures : from balancing 747 aircraft to supervising import / export operations. Back to Italy , I’ve continued within the business , specializing myself in the Financial Department with important Multinational Corporations: from Price Analyst to Head of The major Worldwide Contract for F.A.O. : Transport of household goods & personal effects. What else to say ? I couldn’t hope for more than taking part of Magnolia Moving , a dynamic, professional and very stimulating environment a professional background can grow exponentially and score at the best the company’s goals.

Born in Treviso, used to live in Piacenza, Milano and Rome, where I grew my daughter and started working in Real Estate and Hospitality industry. Then I started my more than twenty years experience in Destination Services. I’m a skilled Global Mobility Specialist with a solid understanding of international personnel assignements requirements. Expert-level knowledge of all issues and global mission policies and procedures. I enjoy being challenged and offering creative solutions to help individual and companies achieve success. Serve as the single point of contact for relocation services, interacting with executive-level clients and coordinating all activities pertaining to a successful relocation and move. With extensive knowledge in global relocations and mobility services, I have helped hundred of customers start new lives, careers and business overseas.
I have recently moved to UK where I’m continuing working on Global Mobility services and where my daughter, the other half of my hearth, lives.

I made the most varied experiences – from the world of dubbing to the military one – before planting my flag on the world of international removals: I started in 1987 and haven’t stopped since.

ANNACLAUDIA GENTILE

JUNIOR OPERATIONS COORDINATOR

I’m Annaclaudia, I was born in Rome but grew up in a small town 20 km away from it; once I graduated from high school, where I studied foreign languages, my life turned upside down completely, finding myself working for about a year and a half in a restaurant, knowing though that that was not my “place in the world”.

I have always had a competitive and determined nature that I put into the professional swimming team in Rome, called “Fiamme Oro”, for seven years and that I subsequently kept with me throughout my life experiences.

One of my biggest passions, besides sports, is music: in fact, a few years ago, I decided to brush up a classical guitar I had at home and with patience and stubbornness I learnt to play it by myself; the same passion came up with another instrument: the drums, for which I started with some professional lessons, that I later gave up on to continue as a self-taught, again!

Through Magnolia I can finally put into practice and reality what I studied for: languages, and get to know this complex, diverse, but also fascinating world of logistics and transport.
